
Dottor Tommaso D'Angelo
Dr. Tommaso D’Angelo is a final-year Pediatric Surgery resident at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, currently training at the Bambino Gesù Pediatric Hospital. He has also completed advanced training periods at leading institutions in France, including Hôpital Necker Enfants Malades and Hôpital Armand-Trousseau in Paris.
Throughout his residency, he has gained expertise in various fields of pediatric surgery, including general and thoracic surgery, neonatal surgery, hepatobiliary and transplant surgery, pediatric urology, as well as plastic and maxillofacial surgery. He has also developed experience in digestive and endoscopic surgery, contributing to innovative research projects on tissue engineering applied to esophageal surgery.
His dedication to scientific research is demonstrated by multiple publications in international journals, with studies on postoperative calibrations in Hirschsprung disease, prevention of intra-abdominal abscesses in laparoscopic surgery, and complications in pediatric surgery. He has presented his work at prestigious national and international conferences, solidifying his presence within the scientific community.
