Dott.ssa Francesca Lofoco

Dr. Francesca Lofoco is a specialist in Respiratory Diseases with a strong academic background and extensive clinical experience. After graduating with honors in Medicine and Surgery from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rome, she completed her specialization in Respiratory Diseases at La Sapienza University of Rome – Sant’Andrea University Hospital, distinguishing herself in the management of respiratory pathologies.

Throughout her career, she has gained advanced expertise working in various healthcare settings, including neuro-motor and neuro-rehabilitation units for children, as well as specialized care facilities for patients with respiratory diseases and complex cognitive disorders. She also collaborated with the Italian Red Cross in the Covid-19 vaccination campaign and diagnostic screening activities.

Dr. Lofoco further enriched her education with a Level II Master’s in "Diagnosis and Therapy of Snoring and Sleep Apnea" at La Sapienza University of Rome, refining her expertise in sleep medicine. She also completed an advanced training period at the Respiratory Subintensive Care Unit of the San Camillo Forlanini Hospital in Rome, strengthening her knowledge in respiratory failure management and non-invasive ventilation.

In addition to her clinical work, she is actively involved in scientific research, with publications in international journals on pulmonology and sleep medicine. She has participated in national and international conferences, contributing studies on respiratory diseases and innovative therapeutic approaches.
