2. Share the essential information

The team needs the patient’s name, the location for an in-person visit and a brief explanation of the request. Further clinical information is discussed directly with the doctor. For home or hotel visits, coverage is confirmed for the precise address.

3. Confirm the appropriate appointment

For a doctor home visit, the team checks the doctors on duty, your location and the requested time. An estimated arrival time is provided before confirmation; it depends on availability and travel conditions.

For telemedicine, the consultation takes place by video. The doctor assesses whether remote care is suitable and may recommend an in-person examination or further investigations when needed. See our service areas for the current coverage arrangements.

4. Receive a medical assessment

The doctor takes a clinical history and, during a home visit, performs an examination appropriate to the situation. The outcome may include medical advice, treatment recommendations, documentation or a referral for further care. Any prescription or certificate depends on the doctor’s assessment and the applicable requirements.

5. Confirm the fee and pay

6. After your appointment

Keep the medical report and invoice, follow the doctor’s instructions and ask the team about any follow-up included in your particular service. If you have travel insurance, check the documentation required by your insurer; reimbursement depends on your policy.
