Dr. Simona Lucia Lascari is a distinguished figure in the field of emergency medicine, known for her professional excellence, passion, and dedication. After earning her degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Palermo, she embarked on a training path enriched by professional experiences in complex and high-responsibility environments.

Currently, Dr. Lascari is specializing in Emergency Medicine at the prestigious Agostino Gemelli University Hospital in Rome. Her specialization program includes rotations in various fields, such as emergency medicine, emergency room care, operating room procedures, and resuscitation. These experiences are further enhanced by courses and simulations that allow her to refine both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

Her career has been marked by frontline commitment in emergency and urgent care settings. She has served as a medical officer in the Emergency Department of the Ospedali Riuniti Villa Sofia-Cervello in Palermo and has held a highly responsible position as the medical director of the Lampedusa hotspot for the Italian Red Cross. In this role, she coordinated healthcare activities and managed medical assistance for thousands of migrants, ensuring timely care and support in often critical situations.
